Carrot and Cumin Snack

A tasty snack to crackers or chips for your vegan party.

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon cumin seed 400 g carrots, coarsely chopped 300 ml vegetable broth 1 red onion, coarsely chopped 1 clove garlic, coarsely chopped (optional) 20 of your favorite crackers or chips (vegetable chips can be used) Your favorite seeds (for submission)


Recipe:


1. Heat the oil over medium heat. Add onions and a pinch of salt. Roast 6 minutes. Add garlic and cumin, fry for another 1 min.


2. Add carrots and vegetable broth, bring to a boil and simmer for 12 minutes.


3. As soon as the carrots soften, pour the liquid into a separate bowl. Beat the vegetables with a blender, gradually adding the liquid to the desired consistency.


4. Remove from heat, cool. The resulting puree can be stored in the refrigerator. When serving, put a spoon of mashed potatoes on crackers or chips.


Decorate with seeds.
