Samosas are Indian pies. Usually both the filling and the dough are fried for them. In this recipe, vegetables are cooked, not fried. Due to this, we get a light version of the beloved Indian dish.
Ingredients:
400 ml of water 1 onion, finely chopped 3 tsp. curry mixed with 1 tsp. mustard seed 250 g of potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes 75 g green beans, cut into cm 50 g frozen peas 4 sheets of fillo dough, each approximately 37 x 32 cm Ginger to taste, grated Some vegetable oil
Recipe:
1. Fry onion, garlic and ginger in oil for 3 minutes, then mix with curry and mustard seeds. Add potatoes and beans. Pour 400 ml of water. Boil for 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft and the liquid evaporates. Add the peas in the last 5 minutes. Preheat oven to 180 °.
2. Sprinkle the dough with butter, then cut it into three strips. Put 2 tbsp. l the fillings at the top of the strip and fold the dough into a triangular samosa shape. Put on a non-stick baking sheet. Repeat with the remnants of dough and filling. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
