Baked apples with granola and maple syrup

The aroma of apples baked with spices will envelop your home with magical aromas of comfort and warmth. You can also use chocolate instead of maple syrup for the filling, add your favorite nuts and dried fruits.


Ingredients: 5 large apples 1 cup of granola (preferably homemade) Nuts, dried fruits - on request ½ cup maple syrup 1 tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp ground ginger 3 tsp. coconut oil

Recipe:


Cut off the top of the apples, take out a little pulp and pith to make a keg. In each apple, place half a teaspoon of butter, cover with a “lid” and send the apples to the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix in a bowl granola with spices, nuts and dried fruit. Remove the apples, open the "lid" and fill each fruit with granola. Top with maple syrup to taste and send to the oven, without closing the lid, for another 20 minutes. Serve with natural yoghurt, coconut cream or ice cream.
